Who We Are

DARE Futbol Academy is not a traditional youth soccer club.

It does not compete with clubs, leagues, or school programs. Instead, it complements them. DARE exists alongside the current youth soccer system to fill the gaps it leaves behind.

We are a player development movement.

Where clubs often focus on winning games and producing revenue, DARE focuses on developing the whole player: technically, tactically, physically, mentally, and socially.

Our foundation is holistic growth.

Development, Acts of Service, Resiliency, and Education (DARE) are the cornerstones. Soccer is the vehicle, but the mission is to prepare young people for success on and off the field.

Why DARE Is Different

Not a club, but a complement.

Youth soccer in America is fragmented and competitive. Families are forced into “either/or” choices, and players are often pressured to specialize or prioritize winning over growth. DARE removes that tension: we exist to support clubs, schools, and families by offering something different.

Focused on development, not trophies.

Clubs measure success by wins, rankings, and tournament results. DARE measures success by how much a player grows, learns, and loves the game—and how ready they are for their next level, whether that’s high school, college, or professional.

Inspired by the best, built for America.

Our philosophy comes from Total Football—a proven European model of creativity, versatility, and intelligence. But we have adapted it to fit the American landscape, where cost, access, and satisfaction are often barriers.

A whole-player, whole-person model.

DARE is about more than drills. We focus on resiliency, service to others, academic accountability, and community engagement. Our players develop character, not just skills.

Why It Matters: Why People Should Care

Youth soccer has a problem.

Parents are frustrated with rising costs, limited development, and politics. Players often burn out, quit, or never reach their potential. Coaches are stuck in a system where winning today outweighs long-term growth.

DARE is a solution, not a competitor.

We are starting a movement that changes the conversation. DARE says: development, education, and character come first. Winning comes as a byproduct, not the main goal.

We are building better players and better people.

A generation of athletes who are skilled, resilient, and educated does not just benefit soccer—it benefits schools, colleges, and communities. Parents should care because this is an investment in their child’s growth, not just their soccer résumé.

DARE is scalable and sustainable.

By focusing on values, partnerships, and player-first programming, we are not just another club.  adding to the noise. We are building something that lasts, something that changes the culture.
